Regional Workshop on Trade services for the Arab and Middle East countries (TP1)
May 1st to 4th, 2023
Led by staff from the World Trade Organization, this course targeted government officials in charge of service trade negotiations.
It provided them a review of key features of the GATS as well as regional trade agreements and the scheduling of specific commitments.
Participants were also updated on the state of play in the negotiations on service domestic regulation and on services related elements of negotiations on e-commerce..
